Nicole R. Bissonnette, Esq.

Nicole R. Bissonnette started her own firm in 2021 after spending six years as a legal aid litigator and two years in small, prestigious private practice in Portland. She has a wide variety of litigation experience that allows her to help clients navigate complicated systems. Attorney Bissonnette has represented clients successfully in hundreds of bench trials.

Attorney Bissonnette is the author of Domestic Violence and Enforcement of Protection from Abuse Orders: Simple Fixes to Help Prevent Intra-Family Homicide , 65 Me. L. Rev. 285 (2012). She is active in civic, community, and charitable endeavors, receiving the inaugural Kimberly Wilson Community Transformation Award in 2017 from Safe Voices, a regional domestic violence agency.
